Invitation for interrogation

In some cases, the police sends the minor an invitation to appear at the police station because they suspect the minor of a criminal offence. The minor is not obliged to appear. If you do not show up at the police station voluntarily, it is possible that the police will arrest you some other day.

If your minor has any questions about his rights and obligations, the minor or his parents or guardian can always contact one of our criminal law specialists. Our attorneys will, if you like, discuss the options the minor has and can, advice the minor or his parents about what steps the minor can take best next. If your minor has been summoned to a (T)OM hearing or summoned to appear before a children's court, legal aid by an attorney is free of charge.
