One of my first job experiences during secondary school was with the predecessor of this law firm, then called; Berte, Maalsté & Blom Advocaten. Back then I mostly maintained the archive, but I was allowed to learn more skills and perform tasks more consistent with being a legal assistant. After graduating high school, I applied for a study ‘Legal Sciences’ at the University of Tilburg.

Because of unforseen circumstances, what was meant to be an intermediate year , became a lot of sidejobs as a receptionist or secretary with eventually even a career in a complete different field (medical production) and even a beautiful little girl of my own.

During the summer vacation period of 2022 I was given an opportunity to return to my former firm, now also transformed as Berte Advocaten. This time my position would be as a legal secretary. The appeal of the legal world actually has always been lingering in the back of my mind so the only right thing to do was accepting this offer enthusiastically.

Berte Advocaten’s helpful and loyal colleagues have warmly welcomed me in their team.
My job description consists of f.e. welcoming cliënts at the office, managing phone and mail contact, processing dictations and invoices. Im looking forward to be learning everything possible to keep developing myself regarding all possibilities within this firm.
